Husband, father, DIY data scientist, worried there isn't going to be enough powder on the mountains.

Be the weird the algorithms can't predict.
AI generated image of the digital panopticon future we are ourselves creating in our quest to measure and predict everything. Humanity's perpetual mistaking of certainty for safety bore on the back of the assumption we are purely self interested actors. #panopticon #ai

The irony of the paradox is yes two things can be true at once but we can only focus on one thing at a time.

Why do they hate USAID? Because peace through collaboration, not confrontation, is a threat to the legitimacy of their force #internationalrelations #ir #polisci #usaid

Between quantitative easing and the soft landing of Bidennomics, has the fed finally figured out how to steer our economy without crashing it, for the banking class at least?

Is being opposed to policy wonks, nerds, and technocrats running a bureaucracy the equivalent of saying I oppose to having teachers be able to read to be a teacher?

Ready for the kicker? If tarrifs aren't the right policy what is? The bipartisan border and immigration bill that Trump fought.
Why are the people who said democrats caused inflation voting for tarrifs to raise prices? This isn't idiocy, this is a message. A very smart message actually. Though I would argue tarrifs is the wrong way to achieve their goal.
They have no idea that tariffs will make everything more expensive

I finally get the point of EBITDA. It is a way to say to the workers don't worry about taxes, depreciation and amortization. In other words don't worry about politics and long term planning. That is management's responsibility. Problem is when management forgets how is their responsibility. #EBITDA
