I sat with a legislative council committee on illicit drugs and reviewed over 20 other inquiries. Overwhelming consensus, the harm from almost all illegal substances comes from their illegality.
So past time to legalise cannabis.
Even when you give police the option to not charge for possessing cannabis they charge 90% of people anyhow.
