How do we love the world in an age of contempt and neoliberal hegemony? Love needs others, community, tenderness. But when everything is reduced to value and profit, love is squeezed out. You can’t eat money when the last tree is gone. How can we put a price on love?

Devastated this unecessary attack on nature has been forced through, by a government in thrall to fake promises by the development industry.

This won't fix our housing crisis, because evidence shows developers focus on profit not need, but it will trash nature.

Starmer would have allowed Farage's motion to pass if 63 Labour MPs hadn't done the right thing and defied the whip.

Terrible stuff !!!

Farage's motion on leaving the European Convention on Human Rights failed: 154 votes to 96

All 4 @greenparty.org.uk MPs voted against it, because we believe international agreements on human rights are a good thing.

But only 63 out of 401 Labour MPs did:

Before the French Revolution, there was the Magna Carta. In my latest blog, I go back in history to remember the struggles of our forbears, who fought in much tougher conditions for the very privileges and liberties we rely on to live our lives: strat4.co.uk/insights/mag...

I'm part of #CleanCreatives: no contracts with fossil fuel clients, ever. Staying on the right side of history isn't necessarily plain sailing, but it's the right thing to do. No matter how hard the climb, the view is worth it.

Something shifted in me, it's hard to know what exactly, as in many ways I'm still the same. I'm the same person I've always been: passionate, humanitarian, lover, believer, embracing all of humanity. But something has definitely shifted.

Green-led Lewes District Council is investing in playgrounds.

Vital to families' well-being; essential for kids' physical development - especially when indoor activities can be so expensive!

The far-right exploit violence against women to spread racism. Refugees aren't the threat, misogyny is. This scapegoating fuels hate and distracts from tackling the real systemic problem. Not in my name. @standuptoracismuk.bsky.social @goodlawproject.bsky.social
