Cruel. Callous. Cowardly.

The public are seeing this Labour government for exactly who they are.

We all have a responsibility to make them pay at the ballot box.

Reject the hate. Reject them.

This is not who we are. Let's make hope normal again.

Devastated this unecessary attack on nature has been forced through, by a government in thrall to fake promises by the development industry.

This won't fix our housing crisis, because evidence shows developers focus on profit not need, but it will trash nature.

Is this same Labour Government expanding airports,

refuses to rule out extracting more fossil fuels from the Rosebank Oil Field

Intent on destroying bats, newts and doesn't care about nature?

Not sure going to Brazil alone is going to do much good.

So either Labour need to ask candidates to step aside for the Greens to take on Reform....

Or actually bring in a fair democratic process where everyone's votes count equally.

It's time for Proportional Representation.

Overshooting 1.5°C wasn't 'inevitable.'

We've been pushed by fossil fuel giants & governments that pander to them.

Every delay, every oil field, every broken promise made this crisis worse.

Keir Starmer, will you promise to leave Rosebank undeveloped?

Since I launched my leadership campaign, @greenparty.org.uk number of new members is bigger than the entire Liberal Democrat party put together!

We're now at 129,000 members.

And 5000 of those joined today. I'd like to be on Laura K more often!

Tomorrow I'll be on Laura Kuenssberg.

Will I be able to say "I can announce the Green Party have just overtaken the Tories in members!"?

It's tantalisingly close to happening!

@zackpolanski.bsky.social is asked, why has there been a surge in Green Party membership? #bbclaurak

Just watching Ed Milliband on #BBCLauraK - both he & Victoria Derbyshire miss the point.

Much 'policy' ££ on energy bills comes back to customers as discounts - but the eye watering 24% of your bill which goes as profit to privatised companies sure does not.

Great to see the progress on refurbishing the playground at Walmer Rd rec! Can't wait till it re-opens!

Green-led Lewes District Council is investing in playgrounds.

Vital to families' well-being; essential for kids' physical development - especially when indoor activities can be so expensive!

Going green shouldn’t break the bank.

The govt must step up with grants and incentives to help people make the switch to green technology in the home. Investment in this technology will cut bills, improve health, and create jobs across the country. That’s a win-win-win!

I voted against proscribing Palestine Action. The govt cynically lumped this vote together with real terrorist groups.

While I support proscribing actual extremist groups like the indefensible MMC and RIM, I refuse to conflate direct action with terrorism.
