This is called implicit bias, which is just as discriminatory as if it were blatant. May it lead to generations of women not changing their names.

Anyone else think that the admin can’t facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia because he, along with the other men, were stripped of their humanity and are no longer able to be identified individually? Like they learned from the nazis not to keep such good records of their crimes?

This genuinely made me tear up and cry. I go to my local libraries at least once a week, sometimes more. I see every demographic represented in users of the library. I know there are so many awful things going on, but their mom never took the to the library in the summer, and it shows.
NEW — After putting all Institute of Museum & Library Services (IMLS) employees on administrative leave Monday, I'm told DOGE is canceling congressionally-appropriated grants to state libraries across the entire country. Libraries are getting notice that funding was canceled as of 4/1.

Do not worry about things that haven’t happened yet. The worst case scenario doesn’t happen like it played out in your mind anyway, so it wasn’t worth using that much time, energy, and anxiety, which prevents feeling the joy in the good part of life.
