I can’t support this bill. It doesn’t meet the urgency of the moment and deliver actual relief that can pass both chambers of Congress.

I’ve been clear that we need real action to stop the devastating health care cost increases that are hurting millions of families. 1/2

Democrats won't create the lasting change or tap into the rage of the majority with Schumer and Jeffries in the lead. Centrists won't get it done, no matter how the establishment wills it. The country has radically shifted. The last 10 years is your evidence.

Bullies gain power when their misconduct succeeds in causing righteous people to yield in the face of wrongdoing. That’s why voting for Trump's continuing resolution - without any protection against his health care cuts or his growing illegality - is a mistake.

I voted NO.

Healthcare premiums are about to go through the roof.

Food assistance will still be cut.

Billionaires, insurance companies amd corporations are the only winners tonight.

Now more than ever we need folks to wear a mask.

People can’t afford to get sick.

Masking is resistance!

Cull the Democratic Party. Systematically chip away all the weak, corporate centrists and corrupt, gutless elected officials who refuse to fight and instead suck at the teat of the oligarchy.

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

What Democratic voter is excited about the Democratic vote to reopen the government without guarantees on the ACA?

Let me know.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Centrists and moderates, what have you done for America lately?

Reminds me of the white moderates MLK warned about so many years ago.

Just useless.

Sen Repubs: (to each other "omg this is like taking candy from a baby") Yes deal!!!
Sen Dems: You guys promise? We are trusting you
Sen Repubs: Would we ever lie to you 😉

Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.

Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

We'll see, but the degree of immediate blowback, and how many other Dems immediately jumped onboard trashing it loudly, makes me think this might end up a failed attempt to cave. Overestimated their ability to hold enough Dem votes.

Thing about being spineless is you can be pushed either way.

Americans have endured the pain of the longest government shutdown in history for a “deal” that guarantees nothing on healthcare.

If Republicans wanted to vote to extend subsidies, they would’ve done it already.

Capitulating is unacceptable.

Schumer put the nail in his own coffin and the Democratic Leadership. It's done. Just a matter of time. Ditto Centrists.

They have misread the moment and the rage of the people.

Trump and MAGA will continue playing them because they know they are weak.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.
