Conservative Christian culture can’t solve this problem. Conservative culture puts humanity into silos, binaries, moral “camps” of right / wrong.
When “men” are only told there are three emotions (and crying is “gay”), we’re surprised by radicalized toxic masculinity?

The Republican healthcare crisis has been a disaster for the American people.

You deserve better.

Creating is encoded into the human experience. Unlike say-for example, private equity and tech.

When we have one less industry in service to humanity and encourage industries that leach us instead … are we really still unsure how this all works out??

I remember being fueled by the need for accountability, justice, and reform in the aftermath of Trump’s first administration. I’m understanding that day may not come.

My energy this round is focused on where my people are who want to create whatever’s next in the aftermath of malignant capitalism.

Yes @eviebauer727.bsky.social this is what accountability creates when blended into democracy. Praying for this to be our floor not our ceiling.🙏

I truly believe one of the most powerful antidotes to malignant capitalism and global suffering is caring about the people around you and those people feeling that care.

I pray we build a mycelium network of love.

What if we start incentivizing the people who benefit our greater collective the same way we incentivize those stealing energy, resources, and money from it?
December 6, 2025 at 3:20 PM
What if the solution is each of us seeing our humanity as the gift we are meant to contribute to our global collective?

Then building systems that help us understand our gifts, empower us to nurture and grow them, and support us in sharing them to the benefit of our global community.
It’s possible.

That’s because the last 5+ years in our industry has shown us what comes from private equity and tech being titans of industry… the middle class get fewer opportunities and eventually squeezed out of the labor market. This is now happening to the largest industry for creatives.
call me crazy but if the entire entertainment industry's reaction to the WB acquisition is "oh no" you probably are not, in fact, saving Hollywood
December 6, 2025 at 10:43 AM
But will it bring back more opportunities for the entertainment industry’s working class?

I would love to see more posts on metrics for the “most generous wealthy elites ”, “ most profit-sharing companies”, and “most happy employees” can we start celebrating those stats, please? I can’t with the billionaires and trillionaires sucking our souls and planet dry.

Will election fraud carry the same weight & importance when it’s the #GOP accused of doing it? … and there is actual proof.

Democracy is on the line in the next election and turnout will matter.

Sadly, no matter what the deal is or who it’s with, this just feels like one more grain of salt in the wound gutting the entertainment industry. 💔
For those paying mind, as we discussed on @pivotpodcastofficial recently, there has been a definite fuck that guy feel to this deal related to the threat of Trump blocking anyone but his cronies like the Ellisons from owning all the juicy bits. Stoke fear. Exploit desperation. Suspend the rule of law. Fan brutality.

Every time the stronger brutalize the weak, it’s fundamentally the same playbook.

Our duty is to stand up to brutality.

Our moral obligation is to protect the vulnerable and hold the powerful accountable.

For 50 years, the median wage of hourly workers stagnated or declined while the stock market and CEO pay skyrocketed.

Is it any wonder so many feel abandoned by the system?

People lose faith, and a demagogue fills the void. This is why we must fix the system.

The bottom 90% lost a collective $79 trillion in wages over the past 50 years.

Why? Because the top 1% ate up an increasingly larger share of the national income — so that $79 trillion flowed to them instead of the working class.

The greatest trick of all is trickle-down economics.
