I finished reading Lucky Day by @chucktingle.bsky.social and immediately went back to the first page. I am amazed at how much story you fit in a book that size. There's so much packed in that plays out in glorious visuals in my head.

My car has been acting stupid off & on since last summer. I took it to the dealership 3 times and they told me they didn't know why it was doing what it was doing. Today I got it fixed.

I was watching when this aired. I had read what Bill Owens said abput his resignation, but seeing them spell it out on the air was surprising.

If Trump can claim a "national emergency" to disappear legal residents without due process, what’s to stop him from doing the same to U.S. citizens who oppose him?

I am so angry right now. I just learned from the news that BCBS just dropped UTSW and Texas Health Resources from their network. That's where all my kid's specialists are. I know this is a negotiation technique that BCBS has tried to use in the past to get negotiated rates dropped.

I'm trying to be healthier. Everytime I feel the urge to shove candy in my face at work, I eat some apple slices or a Mozzarella stick. I hate it. I know I'm not hungry, but I am also not satisfied.

I do really appreciate being called to participate in @repjasmine.bsky.social phone town hall last night. Unfortunately, I was waiting for my (adult) kid to finish a doctor appointment and was in a parking garage at UTSW. I lost signal before it got started.
