The future isn't going to end up like 1984 or Brave New World, not like the Matrix or Brazil. It won't be like the Giver or Hunger Games. You know what's going to happen? It's gonna be WALL-E. This is the most likely scenario for the future, and it's not even close. Thanks Disney, one EVA please.

It is natural to know despair in dark times, to feel dread and uncertainty. But do not immerse yourself in doom. Seek out joy and light, wherever you can find it, to keep despair from being the only feeling you have space for.

I know the creative had issues, but I’m super proud of the mechanical design of Outlaws of Thunder Junction. I really enjoyed its limited format. Bloomburrow was the best total package of 2024.

There’s also a perception that once you are in a job, that you’re locked into that job for the rest of you life. Which isn’t exactly the truth, it may be a little tough to adjust, but it’s always possible. A lot of teachers I meet didn’t want to be teachers until after they got through a job or two.
