Today's #mtgtrivia question:

What Judgment creature is the third one in Magic to have a specific creature type in its name, yet it doesn't have that creature type because we hadn't started using it yet?

Answer to yesterday's #mtgtrivia question:

Sylvan Safekeeper. Olle Rade won the first Invitational, but didn't give us a card we could make. Years later he asked if he could still have his prize. I said yes, but in the art he had to look like he did when he won. (He had since cut his hair.)

I'm so sad to hear of Kai Budde's passing. I spent eight years working the Pro Tour and it allowed me the opportunity to watch Kai first hand as he made the greatest run of professional Magic that has ever been, winning seven Pro Tours! It was an honor to get to know him. Rest in peace, Kai.
