I swear at least half of it had to be genetics or bone memory though, (idec if this claim is unscientific) because technically having moved to the US at 3 meant I rarely had sweet bean stuff and was more likely to have had stuff like chili and savory bean salad growing up. Can’t do it though 😂

Oh absolutely 😭 I’m happy to acknowledge that this is a great thing for loads of people. I think it’s partially the autism: I get very picky about flavor pairings and things like “beans are meant to be sweet and savory beans are weird”. Very much a me problem.

I am not aware of a single author who has a shortage of book ideas. Words, yes. Ways to make the ideas become a book, yes. But I've never met an author who doesn't have ideas just raining down all the damn time.

Yep! It used to be mostly cloth masks though. And people would wear them while sick or with allergies. I still mainly use cloth masks myself and haven’t had even a cold in years so 🤷🏻‍♀️only times I got really ill were when my relatives brought sick children around. I don’t get the anti-maskers.
