Here it is, the story I've been burying myself in for months. The Canary islands are special to me but in Tenerife I found La Orotava, and local wine, and I fell in love all over again.

But can I go back knowing tourism is destroying, has destroyed, so much?

Sad to say Halewood aren't doing that well despite all the "consolidating" over at Flookburgh

Fem Van Empel leaving cycling (indefinitely) is my first big heartbreak since I really got into watching the sport. I hope she gets all the support she needs, competing at her level must put so much pressure on your MH.

I’m convinced that this map is reflecting reality perfectly.

It's got beer, it's got festive cheer, it's got a frazzled businesswoman trying to have it all at the jolliest time of year. It's that Christmas story I wrote!

It reminds me of an energy gel packet but is it really any worse than some of the others?

Sidenote: Which is the best, most flattering kit and why is it Alpecin Deceuninck?
Oh my word, it is truly terrible. Ineos Grenadiers warned us with the teaser and then the leaked image of the training ride came out and, well, it is poor to say the least.

What do you think to this new look? The dirty or off white shorts really are what makes this so poor, for me.

I eat meat, and so I feel like I should educate myself on how it is butchered, hunted, farmed, and made into the food I eat. To The Bone is one of my favourite Substacks for this--it's so informative but Hank is so methodical and heartfelt too. tothebone.substack.com/p/grinding-a...

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.
