Cut Medicaid and food benefits and increase tax cuts and defense spending. Seems reasonable.

None of Trump’s executive orders do anything to help and only hurt the American people, but why withdraw from the WHO? It’s an agency that transcends politics and whose goals are to eradicate disease and build stronger health systems. The US in partnership with the WHO eradicated smallpox.

It’s an idea as popular as it is incorrect: American babies now receive too many vaccines, which overwhelm their immune systems and lead to conditions like autism.

Interesting fact: KU football had 3 wins over teams that are currently ranked in the top 25. That is more wins than Boise State, SMU, Indiana, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio State, Clemson, Penn State, Arizona St, and Notre Dame. Oregon has 4 and Georgia has 4 (2 against the same team).

Health Insurance companies are using algorithms and outdated guidelines to deny claims. If they want to practice medicine then they should hold a medical license and be subjected to malpractice suits when their poor decision making harms patients.

“How the fuck did this go on for so long?”

“It’s for their comfort... It’s not that I euthanize them.”

“It depends on what you mean by killing them.”

If this goes through, ORs just won't even offer surgery to higher risk patients [who have more complex, longer surgeries], because they'll be providing anesthesia for free.

Great way to save even more money and hold onto even more dollars.

As an EM physician, I think it is time to brush up on diagnosing vaccine preventable illnesses such as measles.

“If he follows through on his intentions … it will cost lives,” said @scottgottliebmd.bsky.social.

Gottlieb laid out several scenarios linked to the effect of falling vaccination rates, such as a rise in child measles deaths.

Anyone who is surprised at this about-face wasn’t paying attention. This was always the plan.
During the campaign, Donald Trump swore he had “nothing to do with” Project 2025. Now, as president-elect, Trump has filled his administration with people who have ties to the right-wing policy blueprint that would overhaul the federal government. nyti.ms/3BhAxxA

This is one reason why it drives me up a wall to see news outlets like @npr.org and @nytimes.com referring to RFK Jr. as a “vaccine skeptic.” He’s nothing of the sort. He’s been an antivax activist since *at least* 2005.
