Rob Reiner had an amazing career, but what comes to my mind is All in the Family. Archie and Michael were hilarious when they were at odds, but the moments where they were connected were some of the sweetest scenes in the whole show.

Zootopia 2 is the highest grossing Hollywood movie of the year & Kpop Demon Hunters was Netflix's most popular movie of all time, but fuck animators, am I right? I hate reading about how huge & beloved this stuff is while knowing how hard creators have it & how it still isn't broadly taken seriously

This is not about making the public safer. This is ethnic cleansing where everyone who doesn't look white is swept up into overcrowded inhumane detention centers without access to adequate food and water or legal representation. This shouldn't be happening under the US Constitution!

After the recent joy of Hard Boiled in a packed theater it hit me that one of the tragedies of capitalism’s manifestation of our tech age is that on top of imprisoning us in gilded cages disconnected from shared reality, they are transforming communal experience into an expensive, uncommon novelty.
