When granddads deliver sandwiches to kids throwing bricks, the state shakes. When they're all out their together, refusing to let us be divided, the state buckles.

Dividing protestors into "good" and "bad" is what the state wants us to do. Rowdy and peaceful protestors learning how to coexist and develop strategies that dovetail with one another is what threatens power.

Imagine publicly devoting your life to the kind of selfless bravery most humans could not fathom & having people even in your ideological cohort disrespect you constantly for one reason or the other. We simply do not treat each other well & that is part of why we are so susceptible to fascism.

And not for nothing, as much shit as people right, left, and center have talked about Greta Thunberg, she has literally devoted her entire life to being about that action. Seriously, put some respect on that young woman's name.

She got that Sophie Scholl energy, and y'all could never.

Is it fucked up that threatening lives of people from mostly European countries is more likely to get results than those of the people of Gaza themselves? Of course it is. But this is the world we live in, and there is an especially poetic justice to it, considering how all this started.

Just absolutely wild that you can’t wear a mask in many places to prevent disease but the police are going full-outlaw to abduct people off the streets.
