I can’t tell you how different it is on X now after so many people have left. I have always followed mostly right-wing accounts because I cover them, and they are running out of people to pick fights with. So they’re just mostly fighting with each other.

It's up to all of us to fight the mass gaslighting about this event. Millions of us saw it live on TV/streams as it was happening. The insurrection was nothing short of a massive crime against democracy, and it's a stain on America's character that it will never be punished.
If/when Trump pardons 1/6ers and prosecutions of him are dead, there will be a strong media push toward "turning the page" and "looking forward, not backward." Trump will rewrite 1/6 entirely. Dems need to think now about how they're going to handle this.
