To members of Congress - the benefit here is first and foremost that your subpoena will actually be enforced in a timely manner. An additional benefit is you don’t look like a feckless rube. If that’s the sort of thing you care about.
In looking to post-midterms, I think one of the most important practical suggestions @joshchafetz.bsky.social offers here is to stop doing this futile nonsense of trying to enforce congressional subpoenas through litigation. Start hitting them with the sticks Congress actually controls instead.

Tomorrow, Republicans have a chance to vote to prevent 24 million Americans’ premiums from spiking.

If they really care about affordability, this is the single easiest and most important vote to support. Somehow, I doubt they’ll do it.
