This is so wrong. The best case scenario involves future Americans punishing the Americans who ideated, implemented and operationalized this, socially and legally. It will be awful and we should do it.

Before healthcare providers were vaccinated & there were no universal precautions, nurses(because so few females admitted to med schools)infected by exposure sometimes passed it to offspring. Horrific.
Of babies infected w/Hepatitis B, 90% develop chronic infection.

Of those, 1 in 4 will DIE.

They lose the ability to get rid of toxins & make important proteins. Their skin yellows, their abdomen swells, they’re uncomfortable. A fate no one deserves.

One we can avoid w/ vaccination.

It’s the first test of our West Coast Health Alliance—the four-state buffer designed to protect science-based policy. Plus, I have a few other California #publichealth updates to cover. Let's get into it👇

Because biology is so flexible, the genetic code is sometimes tweaked to add additional amino acids into select proteins. It turns out that some archaea, microorganisms distinct from bacteria and eukaryotes, have gone one step further. cen.acs.org/biological-c... #chemsky 🧪

The more something threatens our identity, the more we avoid it and then we fight it once we can’t avoid it anymore. This is a key challenge in both politics and the workplace.

You face the problem of trying to reason people out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.

An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

We have a “poverty trap” and it’s driving the destruction of social cohesion.

The “poverty line” is’t 35,000, it’s $150,000, and making more than one, and less than the other is worse than being “poor”.

Which is why the rage.
