Senate Republicans are trying to force their budget through this weekend.

The bill cuts healthcare to give tax breaks to the rich.

They had no public hearings.

Last-minute changes mean very few will have read the full bill.

It will likely pass in the dead of night.

Scam.

Just like a woman in California has a right to an abortion twhile a woman in Missouri does not.

That was the entire point of state’s rights. Some state have rights for their citizens and others do not.
Which means a baby born in New York to undocumented parents will be a citizen. But a baby born to undocumented parents in Kentucky will not be a citizen.

This is madness.

Over 11,000 people were either fired or took buyouts at the IRS.

And roughly $500 billion in revenue will be lost just this year because of the cuts.

Remind us again how that improves government efficiency?

The best time to stop an ICE agent is before they can grab an individual, once a person is in their hands and you de-arrest them or help them flee, that person is going to be hit with federal charges on top of their deportation. This will make their legal woes far more troublesome. Know when to act.

Thimerisol is safe.
The summary of evidence in the ACIP background materials said just that.

But….who removed that from the ACIP website?
If you’re trying to “restore public trust,” hiding the scientific body of evidence is NOT the way.

Among all of the other reasons to criticize Medina, it makes clear that Dobbs was never just about returning abortion decisions to the states. It was always (as @profmmurray.bsky.social and others have been saying all along) an intentional step making it harder to protect abortion rights everywhere.
And, predictably, in Medina, Justice Thomas isn't content to axe Planned Parenthood from Medicaid.

He would go further ... "to reexamine more broadly this Court’s §1983 jurisprudence . . . ."

This is an invitation to undermine a major foundation of civil rights litigation.
