I want to express my appreciation to D2 Gallery for taking a chance on my work and promoting my show. We took it down today. They kept a few small works and books. Books are also available at From Here, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, Wishing Tree and Aunties. Thank you for your support!

This makes me sad. I also understand why. Hold each other close through the holidays.
Holiday lights have lit up Manito Park for the past five years, but this year the event has been canceled.

My friend, Hara Allison, at Hara Alison Photography and Dream Studio, interviewed me for her Dream Anyway podcast. This short piece touches on art making, surviving cancer, birth defects, and life of service.

First Friday, November 7, catch my show "Glimmers" at D2 Gallery in Spokane, WA. Reflect on glimpses of the spiritual, the magical, the positive in a time of sadness and conflict... "through the cracks in the window, the gap in the door, the quick glimpse across the yard or out of a car window".

I went to the rally for the Spokane Public Schools Bond and the Spokane Parks Levy. There is crazy stuff going on in our country. I feel confident that it will be better with pre-school, trade school, playgrounds and replacement school buildings. Vote yes on November 4. www.togetherspokane.org

It’s hot in Spokane and after my pick up downtown, I decided to stop in and enjoy the air conditioning and a lemon drop martini at the Historic Davenport Hotel. Such a fabulous place that makes me feel like going back in time. Cheers on the hottest of days!

I went to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture to hear Jean Arnold talk about her fire paintings. MAC after hours was worth the trip.
