We should feed people, help them see a doctor when they’re ill, and support our veterans wholeheartedly as a thank you for their service. Nobody is living large on government assistance - that’s a lie Republicans tell to justify cutting help to prop up the rich. Billionaires shouldn’t exist.
Republicans just passed a budget that guts Medicaid, SNAP, veterans’ benefits, and free school lunches.

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

Every January I attempt a new, really complicated bread recipe in what’s become known as Batshit Bread Baking. Complicated instructions? Sounds good. Fussy dough that needs a specific temperature water within 10 degrees? Yes please. Currently searching for next month’s saga. Suggestions welcome.
