Here is a picture of what the top of my bluesky app looks like and it’s just as easy to scroll slide horizontally as vertically!

I have a copy of Rich’s The Fact of a Doorframe that got drenched while used as a doorstop during an Incident in a tub ~25 years ago (long story).

I love this dried out wrinkled book so much

Reading more of Lavin’s work tonight after a brief scroll thru of today’s many attacks (I counted three?) - it’s haunting how particularly prescient this all seems.

I am still mad about this movie not receiving the recognition it deserved. Charming remakes, incredible vocal performances, and a modern interpretation that was quite delightful. But I legit had multiple ppl tell me they wouldn’t watch it because “the race thing.” (yes they were)

when I paid to visit the penguins it was early pandemic and we were allowed in (masked) but we didn’t get to pet them like people had been able to pet them before.

Good morning, sky. Is there any luxury like a device full of reading, a small assignment, and a cappuccino brought to you in bed - all of this and no commitments for like, a whole hour?

Spouse brought the ‘vid back from LA. We’re quarantining and masking of course, and I got him some Covid Cologne: here’s hoping we keep it from the kid who is supposed to go off to camp in three days 😭

So, I’m going thru old boxes and I found a book of poetry Jeff Conant gave to me and found this skeet while searching the name. I wondered if it could be the same Jeff. Any chance this is your friend?

I cropped out the hutch because I said no to the hutch. I just want the largest widest expanse of solid wood that will be built just for me and customized to have the return on the other side and little drawer inserts. Now: I wait 12 weeks.

Hugs. Families know how to push the buttons the best because they’re the ones who put the buttons there in the first place, is what I’ve heard. Here is a picture of a pet, just not mine.

feeling betrayed right now by all the people who said sifting didn’t matter. I impulse sifted the flour and sugar while making these snickerdoodles and I can’t even describe the difference. Somebody should have told me sooner!
