I was thinking about this kind of thing again and how the Venn diagram of people who expect all fiction to cater to them and people who have poor media literacy is nearly a circle.
My favorite homophobic complaint in Dark Science was, after years of gay subplots, heroic left wing terrorists and canonically trans characters, when Kim finally confessed to Ling, a guy commented "wow so even *you're* trying to score woke points now"

I'm having to go back and look at a lot of classical #art for this one. I'm worried that when I finally get it all sketched out - which I am foolishly doing all on one lair in order to emulate a more classical take - I am going to chose to paint it and then ruin to whole thing

I know that my death would just be pointed at as another statistic. I will not be remembered. When I go, I will be one of many and that will be that. My death is what they want. Something they can point at and laugh about. Then pretend that their hate is righteous and move on with their lives.
