I understand that legislators legislate, but there already is a provision in the foundational law of our nation that protects speech, and that the president has already sworn his worthless oath to uphold it. So what else are you going to do?

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

Incredible. The Trump administration calculated "tariff rates" by taking the US trade deficit with the respective country and dividing it by the country's exports to the US. And then the tariff rate of the US is often just set by cutting that made-up "tariff rate" in half.

I've been convinced by the argument that one important way we protect our rights is by exercising them as if we expect that they will be protected, and demanding that they be protected when the government encroaches. (Of course this is a low-risk enterprise for most middle-aged white men.) 1/
