Bruise Mk. II, my #mecha design for #Mecha90000, is done.
With two massive rockets for forearms, it delivers devastating punches, and its jetpacks allows it to blitz across the arena at high speeds. The jetpacks being on an articulated arm lets it dash in different directions.

True, jousting lances don't go on fighter jets.
Jets have low armour and high speeds, making them more suited for a skirmisher type of fighting style. A jousting lance upon impact, or worse, penetration against a similarly heavy target will cause it to lose most of its momentum and slow down.
