A couple of years ago one of my 5th graders says “Pronouns is woke”. So I asked him to explain what a Pronoun was. He couldn’t so I say “You mean you don’t understand what a Pronoun is?”. He agrees. Then, “So are you saying woke means you don’t understand it?"
