…. and then it is going to make people say I’ll keep applauding what the fürer says until I drop because I’m scared I’ll be sent to the GULAG if I stop applauding…
These guys are so f***g stupid and ignorant of history, they don’t realize they are usually the first to go.
Duffy: "This whole movement is potentially gonna make people go, 'I'm gonna come to work earlier. I'm gonna stay later. I'm gonna look at what Donald Trump wants me to accomplish because he won the election, and I'm gonna fight and work to make sure I help him accomplish that ... I work for POTUS.'"

More of this, please.
This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

“Trump’s demand that Smith’s report be suppressed is a useful reminder that he really hates truthful accounts of January 6th, even if—especially if—they are based on testimony under oath from many different individuals, including many who worked for him.“
"The loathing is easily understandable. Politicians don’t like scrutiny. But one senses in addition to the hatred and the loathing, there’s an element of fear." Even more important, then.

He’s the only candidate for president in American history who refused to accept the will of the people.

He committed crimes trying to overthrow the election.

He incited a violent attempt to overthrow the election.

A people that truly cared about democracy would’ve made him a pariah. Shame on us.

At the time, everyone, including Republicans, understood how bad it was. Then, brick by brick, they built a foundation of lies to justify doing what they know, deep down, to be wrong. Trump betrayed the country. And so do they.

CJR asked some of us what we’re watching for (or worrying about) in 2025.

After noting a few of Trump’s meritless lawsuits, and ABC’s $15MM settlement, here’s my conclusion:

Soon enough, Trump will start to execute his agenda. He will continue to lie about the 2020 election. Those of us who call him out for what he is — a deranged election-denying autocrat — will be vilified and threatened. That is how we know we are doing the right thing. That we are effective.

As the second Trump administration takes form, many seek to understand what motivates the incoming president. Happily, James Thurber provided us the answer in advance in his story, The 13 Clocks, where a character explains: "We all have flaws, and mine is being wicked."

Honestly, if I can stand up to Trump's bullying in court, shouldn't a multibillion dollar company be able to?

Perhaps the difference is that I wear his scorn like a badge of honor and Disney is too frightened not to put on a stupid red hat.
For the record, I know what it is like to be sued by Donald Trump. He sued me and several others in 2022. We did not bow down, we did not settle, we fought and we won.
