Just did the math. My family will have to forgo health insurance again. My premium goes from $375/month to over $1000 a month. Indiana also gutted funding for health plans, so it might even be more.
Have seen zero news about how the BBB lets ACA premium subsidies expire at the end of 2025.
The high deductible bronze plan for me and my son would be $1350 a month without those subsidies (it’s $176 month now). An increase of $14,089 per year.

What's wild is that if you read golden age sci-fi, almost all of this AI shite, plus the consequences AND solutions has already been thought of!
The replacement of everything with generative AI is NOT inevitable, but it sure is if you all shrug and say "Well, it's inevitable" like your brain was washed in bad predictive SF for decades.
