Glad they appealed.

The burden of proof’s on the Crown and sadly, the first judge didn’t think they met that requirement. Doesn’t change the fact that DF is a complete curmudgeon for going after the kids and uttering veiled/double meaning statements to them. What type of person does this to kids?
Crown appeals acquittals of former AB MLA Derek Fildebrandt who chased teens in truck.

In its notice of appeal, the Crown indicated a plan to argue that Fradsham's verdict was "unreasonable" and that he "erred in law" when finding Fildebrandt not guilty.

The UCP has created a more generous gift policy and limited freedom of information access. On the horizon: relaxed rules for political aides.

So given the bombshells in Ottawa today, I’m personally of the opinion that if the Prime Minister does not have the confidence of the House or his own cabinet, he needs to go. But in the case of this minority gov’t, the GG can ask if the Official Opposition can earn the confidence & form gov’t.

I get that people are frustrated with the mail strike. I am too. But I also believe in the right to strike and resolve this without needing arbitration. The Federal Government threatening return to work legislation makes them hypocrites & personally, sealed their fate in the next fed election.

For people who love to cry out “tough it out and stand up to bullies”, it’s pretty rich watching them crumble like sand when the shoe’s on the other foot. Guess there’s plenty of leaders in Alberta & Canada who want to kiss the ring or ass of a bully with hopes they’re spared. How pathetic.

Re Biden’s pardon

The Right owns a narrative about what the Left “does” while in government.

That we’re crazy socialists who want to give “communist” healthcare to the masses, push “woke” ideology to children or that we give free “safe” drugs to addicts.

I say fuck it, own it & let’s just do it.

A lot of people think everything will work out if we just play by the rules but don’t seem to recognize that rules only matter when everyone agrees to follow them and, well, that isn’t our present reality.

When workers go on strike, show your support. Don't assume they should be grateful to have a job, consider this: CEOs and execs don’t need millions in bonuses and inflated salaries. Without workers, there’s no business.
Stand up for workers' rights and recognize their worth!!!

And Heritage Fund.

We are all better off if $170 billion is stewarded by folks without blazing political opinions. It’s not in the public interest for any of this to be politicized. #ableg
