Katie managed to get 4 young men to join the march in Richmond. They fully supported stopping violence against women and girls.
As a council, Richmond has done all it can to support survivors of VAWG. But during these 16 Days of Activism, we’re reminded how much more we must do to prevent it, from helping parents tackle online misogyny to enabling safe intervention. We will keep working to stop VAWG.

It's now stopped raining so it's time to go put to Whitton High Street for the Christmas Lights turn on which happens later this afternoon. The High Street is closed to traffic until latwer tonight.

Tim Davie was one of the best D-Gs the BBC has had, and Deborah Turness was a brilliant head of news. Only the BBC’s enemies could possibly be glad they’ve resigned. We’ve now got a real fight on our hands to defend public service broadcasting, because that’s under threat too.

We are giving the freedom of LBRuT to Sir Vince Cable tomorrow night at a special Council meeting. He has done so much for so many Twickenham residents over the years so it is very well deservered.
