I am 30 or 40 years old, and I'm here to doomscroll.
I don't understand why people are so reluctant to admit mistakes. Like literally nobody thought you were infallible.

Apple must put Mechahitler AI on iPhones or the world's richest man will be so sad he might do a bunch of ketamine and tweet the most pathetic shit you've ever read

So if you start by teaching kids to "read" without knowing words, how the fuck do they ever learn to write?
November 12, 2025 at 9:45 AM
Why do you assume they would want to do that?

these assholes made a payment processing website or “invented” 2 day shipping or made Hot or Not 2 and so we gave them all our money and put them in charge of tech?

make it make sense…these guys are “right place right time” and nothing more to it than that and now they have all our money

Are we talking dental too? If so I'm in.

In person early voting is the best in my opinion. The USPS is notoriously unreliable in my area ever since DeJoy screwed it all up.

He's been horrible for Virginia in so many different ways that most don't even know about. It's hard to even list with his 400+ vetoes and dozens of executive orders.

I think it's fair they get a training facility in the US, to train their pilots alongside US airmen on the F-15s they bought from us. They've spent $10 billion since 2003 building this, the largest US military base in the Middle East.

Seems fair to me, considering they've spent (and continue to spend) billions of dollars to build and maintain the largest US military base in the Middle East

Virginia's Republican governor did, but I assume that was motivated by the same political thought process that got us election year tax rebate checks, even though we know their candidate for governor would have said "lol starve"

This is how he’s gonna go isnt it? He’s just gonna nod off on camera and then someone’s gonna try to wake him and it turns out he was dead for 15 minutes while rfk jr talked about how 5g causes ms or something

Looking forward to Youngkin blowing a bunch of his own money running for president because he can't accept that nobody likes him

~25-35% of the state's GDP is tied to federal activity when you combine direct, indirect, and induced employment. Just find new jobs? Why don't I strap on my job helmet and squeeze down into a job cannon and fire off into job land, where jobs grow on jobbies?!

Virginia had a Dem trifecta in 2020 and 2021

Her positions on the issues Virginians care about most were even less popular, which is probably why she avoided those. For example supporting Trump's attacks on federal workers whose salaries are like 1/8th of our state's economy, with far greater indirect economic impact.
November 5, 2025 at 4:24 AM
She did touch on the real issues when she said none of us deserve jobs and she supports every harmful thing Trump is doing. Did she even want to win?

Also the whole Virginia voting against the sitting president's party for every governor since like the 1970s thing. Except Obama bc he was kinda chill for a US
president. Our state is dominated by federal politics and most presidents are awful (this one being the worst).
November 5, 2025 at 3:34 AM
VA isn't a red state, we vote against the sitting president's party in almost every election (even when they aren't awful), and Earle-Sears was one of the worst VA governor candidates in modern history. Her campaign was "trans kids bad, you don't deserve jobs, and the AG candidate is secretly mean."
November 5, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Spanberger had basically no choice but to ride a blue wave, her opponent was one of the worst VA governor candidates in modern history. Her campaign was basically months of hating on trans kids followed by a few weeks of whining about text messages sent by someone running for a different office.

Struck me as a weird thing to base your entire gubernatorial campaign on, because who among us hasn't privately wished death upon at least one Republican?
