Was it Tierney that disrupted the committee meeting two weeks ago? (He seems to have recent difficulties with verbal impulse control.)

You remember shit like Watson cutting off Diane Deans microphone? Ya that shit wasn’t an aberration, it was the norm. Tim Tierney and all the other lapdogs that had fuck all to say or criticize Watsons in the many many instances folks were targeted. We just have no memories to contextualize shit

Tim Tierney should remember his past before publicly accusing his fellow city councillors that they don’t give a fuck about residents safety and by extension is a call for them to be replaced in next years election. Sorry but that’s exactly what this is. Tim lives in a glass house too

Speaking directly about Councillors Leiper and Troster, he said: "What is surprising is their unwillingness to prioritize community safety." You do not accuse fellow councillors of not caring about the safety of their communities. That crosses a line. It's unacceptable and merits an apology. 10/

Here in Ottawa, several councillors, including me, are frustrated at the City's tentative expansion of the ANCHOR program. Where cities like Toronto have modernized through their Community Crisis Service, Ottawa takes baby steps. 8/ toronto.citynews.ca/2023/11/09/c...
City council approves city-wide expansion of Community Crisis Service
The program will see mental health experts respond to calls involving people in crisis instead of the police service.

There’s an objective and moral difference to using and wielding power dependent how and for who it benefits. As an eg, #ottawa should just ban right on reds. And implement BRT on at least 6 main arterials which aren’t arterials but highways. Fuck consultation. Just do it. It’s the right thing to do

You can see across the political spectrum that norms and decorum are fucking gone. And people who dont hold power are still holding on to those because they represented something good, but something good in the past. Sorry but again, if you want norms, codify them. In the meantime fuck em #ottawa
