I was cool, then I moved to Indiana.
Hey Tottenham fans… now that the season is over and we are fucked forever, what’s everyone doing to fill the time they would have spent watching this bullshit team? I’m thinking about taking up bird watching or sticking sharp things in my eyes.

Elon Musk spending billions of dollars to buy a social network to replicate what it's like to have friends who like you, and an AI to replicate what it's like to have a supportive father who praises you, only to have both consistently turn on him is Promethean torture if Prometheus had deserved it.

I find the phrase “makes history” nonsensical. Have you seen the stuff historians study? Just dropping an old piece of farm equipment down a well or accidentally freezing to death in a glacier gives you a good shot at the history books

Spurs, oh how you make me hate you for 80 minutes and then love you the rest of the day. 😂 #COYS

Hey Tottenham, it seems to be pretty hard to score goals when you don’t take any shots.

The core central concept to the entirety of college sports is “fuck those guys over there specifically”
College Football is a great sport for haters.

Well done Brighton. This is so powerful. Makes me wish American sports would do more like this and less banal platitudes.

Really? The hysterical Islamophobia post 9/11 kicked it all off, and the through-line is pretty straight. Trump launched his political career by lying that Barack Obama was not a U.S. Citizen but a Kenyan Muslim. A lot of white people loved it, and a white nationalist movement took off.
I'm unable to process how we got from 9/11 to this.

My new rule for watching Yankee games is that when Devin Williams comes in to pitch, I turn it off and go do something else. Life is too short to waste time watching him predictably blow games.

Back-to-back wins. Back-to-back clean sheets. Three points at the Etihad. Not a bad start to life at Tottenham for Thomas Frank.

The Europa League winners record consecutive victories away at Manchester City for the first time since May 2010, and go top of the Premier League.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦁⚽🏆 Spurs stun City again

Tottenham claimed a 2-0 win at the Etihad, their second straight league victory away to Man City. Calm, disciplined, and clinical, Spurs controlled the game while City offered little in response, leaving the champions well beaten in their home opener.

I absolutely refuse to get my hopes up for this Tottenham season since there are still some obvious holes in the lineup and bench, but hoo boy it’s nice watching competent football from a disciplined team. COYS!!!
