ESPN has basically traded an entire investigative journalism dept for Stephen A. Smith. ESPN’s IJs used to uncover stories that all sports radio & podcasters would yap about. Invaluable to the brand. The sportsworld spun on it. Now ESPN is just the worst YouTube sports show ever with better graphics

ESPN has basically traded an entire investigative journalism dept for Stephen A. Smith. ESPN’s IJs used to uncover stories that all sports radio & podcasters would yap about. Invaluable to the brand. Two things can be simultaneously true: Pitt’s level of play was not worthy of a win, and the refs made an egregious mistake that went against Pitt really badly.
