But are Reform really “making the political weather” as you, so uncritically say, Chris Mason, or are you making it for them by hyperventilating over each grubby little Tory-Reform-reshuffle, without *ever* properly scrutinising the howling failures of these deeply unpleasant, grifting clowns?

Reform gained control of some councils last month – cue the DOGE “efficiency auditors.”

But they forget crucial steps and are manufacturing outrage.

This is a meticulous, line-by-line takedown of their theatrics from The Bear.

No noise. No spin. Just forensic finance.
Show your working: a challenge to Reform UK
Reform UK blames inefficiency for public failures, but real scrutiny starts with data, not Twitter outrage. Here's why...

This really matters because there is a huge difference between news - “UK and EU do deal” - and angle - “UK government betrays Brexit with EU sell-out”. The broadcasters and Westminster follow the right-wing press narrative on the mistaken belief they speak for Britain. It’s a disastrous delusion.
In which @jonnelledge.bsky.social hits the nail on the head. The people who read newspapers are generally the over-65s, the broadcasters and the political class. There’s a line that travels directly from the Mail, Sun and Telegraph through the BBC, ITN and Sky to Westminster. It is entirely ruinous.
The public doesn’t like Brexit. Has anyone told the media?
From the broadsheets to the tabloids, journalism is increasingly out of touch with public opinion.

In case you missed it ...
In 2023, Mark Carney gave a speech about the damage Brexit has done to Britain. He knew Brexit was just the first salvo in a wider coordinated attack upon Western democracy. The aim is always to undermine the system by convincing enough people that their nation is "broken".

I seem to have upset the Nigel Farage fan club - so let me be clear.

This man sows hate, lies and division.

He is a grifter and a conman.

He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.

Repost if you agree

P.s. multiculturalism is great.

Slightly lost for words after today. It all feels so surreal. I thought we had a good chance of 3 points. And they just absolutely delivered. We are so lucky to be enjoying these players and this team. A wonderful, festive day with family, friends, and three points. COYR. #NFFC

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage says the public want to leave the ECHR

Let him know he’s wrong by sharing this widely
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage says

“We need to leave the ECHR so we can deport people that come illegally & take back control of our borders & that’s what the public wants”

Share if you disagree with his populist boll**** the UK should join Russia & Belarus outside the ECHR

Well, recently, after a long 18 months of sciatica, which was both debilitating and at times excruciatingly painful, I’m back walking properly again. 🎉✨😊

And to cap it all, in the last couple of days I’ve actually been out leafleting in Rushcliffe for🌹Labour & our fantastic local MP James Naish.

Arrived on bsky.social . I guess this is the first stage of leaving the toxic platform ruined by the 2nd biggest man-baby in the US.

Yesterday, I did something I’ve been meaning to do since April. I cycled both ways, the whole of the Monsal Trail in Derbyshire. 20miles.
