The incoming felon-elect is willing to send our troops to “take back the Panama Canal” in order to stop their government from investigating his businesses there, but he says that lowering the price of groceries here at home will be “too hard.”

Anyone else see a problem here?

According to PolitiFact, Trump kept only 23% of his campaign promises during his first term. Now, with weeks to go before starting his second, he’s already walking back some of his biggest 2024 pledges. Team Big Picture breaks down these reversals in their latest piece.

As you process the devastating news that another tragic shooting took the lives of at least 3 innocent people in Wisconsin, remember the shooter didn't act alone.

He was assisted by 222 House members, 49 Senators, and the NRA.

The Tinkle Tape Traitor just referred to Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine as “Ukraine’s war with Russia.” He also referred to Putin as “President” and Zelensky as a “representative of Ukraine.”

In case anyone was wondering how this shit was gonna go.

After the shooting, someone said a lot of the CEO’s are afraid to return to work.

Read that and now think about how our school-aged kids feel!

I would like to remind people that you can mute specific words for time spans ranging from one day to forever, which I find very useful when dealing when people or things showing up in your timeline get a little overwhelming (or you just f'n hate someone and never want to see mention of them here).

It took me FAR too long as a white dude to accept that racism really is at the core of so much that is fucked-up and wrong about the United States. There's a difference between understanding it intellectually and seeing the depressing fact of it until even someone like me can't deny it anymore.
The lesson the American left should learn from the S. Korean protests is that racism enables American authoritarianism more than anything else.

The psychological wages of whiteness are a real currency white people of a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds are willing to be paid in.
So one of the reasons South Korea is a healthier democracy is that it’s a relatively homogeneous country and racism can’t be used as an effective tactic for attacking democracy. The psychological wages of whiteness in the US are a key reason authoritarian attacks on democracy in the US succeed

Republicans forgot the part where they claim that bathroom bans are to somehow protect the children.

...given this ban is notably and intentionally targeting an adult legislator in an office of adult legislators.

I know cruelty is the point, but methinks the fash are getting foolishly bold.

These losers do this because their only shot at companionship is a hostage situation, so they spend all day harassing people into thinking a woman’s self worth should resemble their own.

If they tried being kind and not approaching every relationship as a transaction, they would be much happier
