People: OMG! We had a massive turnout, and there were no police.

Other People: Same in my city. It was so unexpected!

Are we that stupid and historically ignorant as a country to have forgotten how we’ve treated nonwhite immigrants and citizens in the past?

This is exactly WHY we cannot erase inclusive history. Guilt about the past is severely less painful than the powerless experiencing human rights abuses.
I know this first hand. When I was a child, my entire community was branded as spies and sabateurs, justifying our internment inside barbed wire camps for years without due process, trial or charge.

In case you missed the most crucial symbolism in Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl half time performance, here’s a scene from Les Miserables. The missing piece is plain as day.

My father fought against authoritarians and fascists in WW2 to protect our country.

I owe my life to him and the many others who sacrificed their lives.

I shall do the same.

✊🏾
I've been telling you how upset WWII vets would be. I feel the same way about the disrespect America is showing to the vets. I also feel so blessed to have been born when I was. I had so much fun with the rights they fought for.
Words alone cannot capture the depth of emotion in this testimony. A voice from the past, once fighting against extremism and fascism, now speaks with heartbreak as history threatens to repeat itself. Watch, listen, and reflect.

Giving up is a choice. Choose wisely and selflessly, and always in the service of others.
On the days I am about to give up, this Gwendolyn Brooks poem gives me an anchor.

When the courts finally intervene in the Treasury plunder, you do have recourse. My reason for a new SSN would be that the white devil Musk compromised my identity. Is that a religious reason?

The conspiracy isn’t a theory. Don’t get gaslit. They are following the playbook.

The question is, for having every monetary and access privilege in the world, why are they so intent on dismantling our systems of government and eliminating the supports? Racial purification? It’s something bigger.
The event was from nearly a year ago (and the article from August of last year), but as we see Project 2025 going into full effect, should we doubt that this dismantling of our democracy wasn't planned or that it does not take inspiration from Nazi Germany?

Thiel said liberalism and democracy are "exhausted," and said, "We have to ask some questions very far outside the Overton window."

Funny. But here’s the thing: the absolute insanity we are experiencing that WE as a country CHOSE, and that’s built on fear, conspiracy, and xenophobia stems from the collective wounds of 9/11.

And now we have Christians as fanatical and authoritarian as the Taliban.

So, two more white men to run the other party in the US?

Not addressing Biden’s cognitive state early and creating a transition plan that voters could trust failed us.

DNC under-appreciated the danger if we didn’t win the election because of power greed.

Now more of the same? Game over.

Here are the options on the table (which are not mutually exclusive):

1. House Dems bring articles of impeachment*

2. Senate Dems play constitutional hardball and obstruct everything

3. State AGs litigate (and prosecute) everything they can

4. Citizens march en mass

We need a “Let’s Make History” month.

The history will be to influence those who are enabling the Administration. You don’t have to confront Trump, you just have to pressure those attending their cocktail parties and dinners. That is how you exert freedom.

Spring is always a good time for renewal.

What’s the real assignment of the administration?

Let’s be clear. The strategic plan has been assigned. It’s multi-phased and global.

Phase one: fulfill promises to appease his voters.

The key: Trump’s a lame duck beholden to no voter. So why bother? To grease the skids

If you think there are paid professionals, lawyers, legislatures, or civil servants who will keep the administration in check, you’re wrong.

The checks and balances are intentionally inadequate. The gatekeeping was supposed to happen on that first Tuesday in November.

We failed.

Now what?

AI is a tool. But AI exposes that humans in capitalistic-leaning societies are tools too for owners. So how to deprecate excess human tools?

Early/ often, starting with elders and the ill, then immigrants, incarcerated, etc until you have a sustainable human tool population to feed and house.
