I had the privilege of visiting Barrett Elementary with @neatoday.bsky.social colleagues to kick off #AEW2025! A heartfelt thank you to the cafeteria workers who welcomed me onto lunch duty and to every education support professional who does the work behind the scenes so our students can thrive.

What an honor to be a part of NEA and APS!
The National Education Association (NEA) kicked off American Education Week this morning at @barrettaps.bsky.social, serving school lunch, reading to students, and leading a hands-on cooking activity.
In addition, the NEA donated $5,000 to Barrett, and APS received a $10,000 donation.
