Mr. Raskin was on FIRE. Never mind what he said about Greene, which you can take with not a grain, but a SHAKER of salt, he laid out the principles Democrats stand for, ALL of which are winning platforms.

I want to see that same fire from EVERY Democrat.

Raskin: We are a big tent. We must be a huge, vast tent. I say this is a party that’s got room for Marjorie Taylor Greene if she wants to come over.

I was wondering why PM Carney is going to the UAE next week and found this which offers some detail of why it may be worth while to Canada for him to represent us there.
He is tireless! Not easy to keep moving all the time through time zones etc.
Thank you PM Carney!

All MPs are also supposed to govern for all their constituents, not just the ones that voted for them. All MPs forget this and are just partisans stuck in ideology. Or stuck to their leader. There is no reason conservatives shouldn’t support it but being partisan.

Can you not see how fortunate we are to have someone with Carney’s experience & expertise leading us?

If it doesn't pass the opposition will be showing that they do not care about Canada or Canadians.

#Canada tomorrow is budget day. If it passes, Canada will fly. If it doesn’t pass, we go to election ( in which case for a Christmas election, we should stuff our stocking with 190+ Liberal seats)

We need 2 votes OR 4 abstentions (which would for a 169–169 tie so Speaker breaks tie with yes vote)

Due to Trump, Carney inherited a real mess, but unlike Trump, Carney doesn't seem obsessed with seeking attention/being praised for every action he takes. Lots of things are happening, but what he's been tasked with doing won't happen overnight.

Today in Winnipeg, we commemorated the life of Louis Riel.

140 years after his execution, his fight for an inclusive Canada continues to shape our country today. We honour Riel’s legacy in our work to advance Métis priorities and build a better future — together.

Premier Wab Kinew and I want to see the Port of Churchill expansion project built — fast. Today in Winnipeg, I announced new funding to help get the project operationalised.

Canada has an abundance of resources, and this port expansion will mean we can ship more to the world.

Budget 2025 is investing in new healthcare infrastructure — because Canadians need hospitals, emergency rooms, urgent care centres, and medical schools that they can rely on.

💯It’s gonna take time. Let’s hope Canadians have the maturity to understand that, and the patience, as you say, to see it through. PM Carney is our hero.

One nation is being led by an economist/crisis mgr, and the other by someone who couldn't keep a casino in the black. BUT, developing alternatives after decades of intertwining the two economies will take time. I hope people will show patience.
