Not sure why, but the picture that is sticking with me most from today is of these kids outside the school in pajamas. Like, they showed up to school on wear-PJs-bring-a-stuffy-let's watch-a-movie day, and this unending American nightmare happens to them.

We have failed them so completely.

My ❤️ breaks especially for DACA who obey our laws and are gainfully employed with families. Will they be rounded up & deported to a Country they don’t know?

Wild stuff going on in Texas right now. Amid an incredibly contentious Republican fight for Speaker of the House, the Texas GOP has passed a resolution vowing to censure anyone who doesn’t vote for party leaders’ preferred candidate — which will bar any censured lawmaker from running in primaries.

This made my day! I remember that horrific video showing Florida Highway Patrol trying to rescue him. He was not only tied up, but was standing in water, cold and scared. This is a very happy ending to the story.
So glad Trooper found a forever home with a comfy couch and people that love him.
