I get not trusting your reps. The good thing is, you don't have to trust them. More than anything, they vote based on what they think will keep them in their seat. If they think voting against these bills could lose them their seats... they are really going to be inclined to oppose.

This is why broad, sustained, and intense mobilization is key. They may not remember 1 email or phone call, but they will remember thousands of them. They will remember not being able to go a minute without their inbox pinging or their phone ringing. That only happens if everybody takes action.
