Most young people are worried, as they should be, about the impact that AI will have on their lives and their ability to earn a decent living.

Our job is not complicated. We must make certain that AI and robotics improve life for all, and not just make billionaires even richer.

Several weeks ago, and we're just hearing about this? What's the status of this latest abomination, @massago.bsky.social? I live near Revere, so close to home. Another person trying to do the right thing was kidnapped and taken from their family. Outrageous.
"A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts."

Vance asks for a "little bit of patience." Sound familiar? Hoover plunged the nation into Depression asking Americans "if you will have patience".

Meanwhile, a taxi driver with cancer in Arizona has premiums go up from $44 to $2,600 a month.

Trump's economy is being held up by a massive AI bubble.

A recent study found that of 300 companies that owned generative AI tools, 95% reported zero return on their investments.

We will not entertain a bailout of these companies should this bubble pop.

@fetterman.senate.gov When you voted for that bill w/o guaranteeing healthcare subsidies for struggling Americans, you should have lost your own healthcare. How many stroke victims who *aren't* wealthy or in Congress will die because of you? You've screwed everyone, including your PA constituents.
John Fetterman survived a stroke in 2022, which would be considered a pre existing condition.

He has a defibrillator for vfib, which can cost $34,000 to over $51,000.

He was one of 8 Dems who voted to gut the ACA and reopen the government.

He doesn’t have to worry, he has healthcare for life

Republicans were overwhelmingly getting blamed for the shutdown.
There was no reason for the Democrats to cave to Trump on healthcare, except for the fact that they are wholly owned and operated by the health insurance lobby.
November 10, 2025 at 3:31 AM
All Democrats who voted yes on this should have their health care ripped away from them and their families IMMEDIATELY.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!
November 10, 2025 at 2:29 AM
@schumer.senate.gov You're completely ineffectual. Republicans will never agree to extend the ACA subsidies and protect Medicare and Medicaid. Not when they can give the money to their rich donors. RESIGN.

Within the agreement to end the shutdown:

🗳️ A promise to vote about extending healthcare subsidies (Repulican promises…🙄)

✅ Rehiring feds who were fired during the shutdown
💲Backpay for feds (already a law mandating that)
❓Prevent some future firings in any agency until at least 1/30/2026 (?)
This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

Call a Senator that voted no tonight and demand that they vote to remove Chuck Schumer as Senate Minority Leader.

He has weaponized his incompetence against the American people by allowing 8 Dem Senators to cave to an authoritarian regime. We need real leadership, not the oligarchy’s lapdog
Schumer can be removed from his Dem leadership role this week - 23 Dems (and/or independents) just have to vote to depose him

And they should, given this is his fault.
This is a lovely sentiment but Schumer isn't up for re-election until 2028 and he knows this. At which point he will be 77/78. There's no mechanism to recall a sitting senator AFAIK.

Hassan
King
Cortez-Masto
Shaheen
Kaine
Fetterman
Durbin
Rosen

Understand This Fact: Chuck Schumer is behind this. None of these 8 are up for reelection in 2026. Schumer asked them vote yes—they agreed. He's such a coward that he folded and won't even own it.

800+ flights cancelled today because Elon took a chainsaw to the federal government and Trump won’t pay the remaining airport personnel.

Trump’s net worth has more than doubled inside a year.

Glad everything worked out for them.

the base salary for members of the house is $174k, which they are still getting during the shutdown. the speaker gets $223k. these are the same people trying to shame others for eating without working.
Speaker Johnson officially announces another week off for the House. That means 20 work days in 18 weeks since July 4. The House is currently scheduled to be out the week of Nov. 10. It's not clear if that will change.
