His mind was thrown into tumult again, and he clenched his fists hard to stop them from convulsing. He had to. It made him look bad. His father had told him so many times. A whimper escaped him, and he sank down on the floor where he pressed his forehead against his knees. “Stop it,” he reminded himself, voice weak and pleading as he began swaying from side to side. “Calm down. It’s just a vase. Just a mirror. Just— Just a… Scar.”

Both of my books, Everything Is Wonderful Now and Open Wound, are pictured sitting on my altar. There is a death card by Open Wound, some demon sigils in the middle, a lighter in the center that has a picture of vampire fangs that says 'bite me,' and by Everything Is Wonderful Now is a baphomet pendant, a skull, and some stones. Everything is in shades of purple.

Catherine is the capricious, wine loving co-founder of The BBT. While she doesn’t particularly care about the organization’s goals she values the resources they provide, and she has a soft spot for her fellow founders. Despite her unpredictable temper and obsession with otherworldly darkness, Catherine is not intentionally sinister. She just comes off as a villain because she happens to be easily offended, and people in her surroundings are awfully rude sometimes.
