The new Pope didn't tweet once in 2024. In 2025, he's posted 5 times, in which he:

- Criticized JD Vance's views on Catholicism and Jesus
- Posted an article opposing Trump's immigration policies
- Retweeted twice about the Pope's health
- Retweeted a criticism of Trump & Bukele's laughter at KAG.

Yes, the stock market may be tanking and our national security apparatus has never been more vulnerable and we're on the verge of both economic collapse and war, but it was all worth it to keep pronouns out of email signatures.

A while back I asked about an instant coffee that actually tasted good. Someone recommended Mount Hagen, which is the best instant I’ve ever had. I ordered a years’ supply the other day; saved a ton of money & cut out Amazon middle man. Would recommend

Thoughts on boycotts: inflict pain on the corporation. Buying a couple 99 cent ebooks from a self-published author on Amazon is fine. Don’t buy a microwave on it. Purity is never the answer. Restraint though and thoughtfulness is.

And to be led by a monster is to be fearful every day. That is no way to live. Even politicians are scared of him. All parties. Media is scared of him. Businesses are scared of him.
That is no way to live.
So a felon/monster was elected because the black/asian lady was too joyful .

Brilliant!

Montana is extremely lucky to have Zooey Zephyr and SJ Howell standing up in front of openly transphobic lawmakers who wanted to pass a bill that would /take trans kids away from their parents./

Thank you to them, and to the Republicans who crossed the aisle. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
‘Stop these crazy bills’: Republicans join Democrats to defeat anti-trans legislation in Montana
One bill would remove trans children from their parents, and the other would ban drag shows and Pride marches

Columbia being hit first by this policy despite being pretty publicly hostile to the Gaza protests indicates that it's going to be very hard for universities to comply enough with this policy to please the Trump admin

The administration said it was cancelling grants and other federal awards for Columbia for an alleged failure to protect Jewish students from antisemitism.

honestly wild to me that, at this late date, any ostensibly informed person would insist that we could ignore trump’s words as just bluster

Listen to your children read. Read to your children. Read alongside your children. Take them to libraries. Talk about what reading means to you & what it can unlock.
Tell them it doesn’t matter if it’s comics, magazines or books as long as they’re engaged with the written word. #WorldBookDay

Just a reminder that if you want to boycott Amazon you can still buy signed copies of my books through my website.

Cause trust me, I get it. Amazon is terrible. It’s a dance with the devil I’d rather not have to participate in. So buy direct from me instead and I won’t have to.
