independent media as “Lügenpresse” (“lying press”), promote conspiracies as official truth, replace factual information with ideologically approved narratives, and use state branding to give propaganda an air of authority.

Now look at the White House website, you can see the disturbing parallels.

Trump calling a female reporter “Piggy” encapsulates in one word his misogyny. More than an insult, it is revelatory of his true character. He is perfect and not to be challenged. Women in particular are to be seen and not heard- and if they are not plasticized robots, they are not to be seen.

Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.

The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

This isn’t a game. Some middle class families in Connecticut are going to get a $25,000 increase in health care premiums in a week. Democrats shouldn’t support a budget that does that to people - just as a means to pay for a giant tax cut for billionaires and corporations.

Moskowitz: We need $30 billion to extend, obviously, these healthcare subsidies, which allow Americans—Americans, not illegal—Americans, citizens, to afford healthcare.

And the president’s like, “We don’t have $30 billion, but I am going to send $40 billion to my dear friend in Argentina.”
