Turns out the vast majority of the 238 Venezuelan immigrants that the administration deported to high security Salvadoran prison—whom Trump characterized as “the worst of the worst”—had not been convicted of any crimes here, and they knew it.

Why wouldn’t he expect it? He did it his whole first term too! Did he think things had changed!? Trump has a fragile ego needing constant fluffing otherwise he deflates and has to confront his weakness. So, he surrounds himself with sycophants. I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.
