If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Night #33: The Brides of Dracula (1960). Still have a few more of these Shocktober check-in skeets to get through 😅 Terence Fisher films under the Hammer Horror banner are basically a sure thing. And Peter Cushing always delivers the goods. No appearance by the Dracula character though 🧛🏻‍♂️ #31DoNXVII

Night #32: Mark of the Vampire (1935). Tod Browning's unique take on the vampire film complete with a clever twist ending far ahead of its time. Despite some visually striking compositions, the reckless cuts enforced by the studio diminishes the effectiveness of the satirical mystery. #31DoNXVII

Night #31: Midnight Matinee (1989). Fell behind on these check-in skeets, but Halloween never really ends. Great '80s Canadian produced whodunnit that takes place in and around a movie theatre in small town B.C. Well shot in the giallo style and featuring numerous alumnus of The X Files. #31DoNXVII

Night #30: The Amusement Park (1975). A commissioned educational film directed by the great George A. Romero that effectively depicts the horrors of how society treats the elderly. This shelved project was unearthed/restored in 2021 and nicely complements Romero's early '70s features. #31DoNXVII
