Building Flightline | Autopilot evals for AI teams

I know a bit about polisci, history, and stuff.
This phrase "one of ours, all of yours" originates from Spanish Fascism in the 1930s (Uno de los nuestros vale por todos los vuestros).

Crossing the Rubicon” has a very specific historical meaning.

It refers to a constitutional system losing its ability to constrain a single actor, at which point power shifts from institutions to personal loyalty.

That’s why historians treat it as a structural breakpoint, not a heroic moment.

This is the thing about the "Don't give them the pretext to send in more feds" arguments. The administration is using its own murder of an unarmed civilian as the pretext to send in more agents. They do not need a pretext and will invent them if they want.

I wrote a constitution for our codebase.

Humans rely on shared context, AI does not.

Anything implicit becomes unstable behavior.

Explicit boundaries, state machines, contracts, rollback paths were non-optional.

Brazil is now the 8th largest economy in the world. I know first hand the immense tech capabilities and talent the country holds. America will do well to foster a strong relationship with them, and together both nations will prosper.

We’re in Brazil — one of the world’s great democracies, one of our biggest trading partners — and not a single person from the Trump Administration showed up.

That’s shameful.

Trump is talking about a 50 year mortgage. This is not a good idea. After 40 years, the difference in payments in negligible but the total interest you pay will be significantly more. Take a look at a 5% fixed rate on a $500k loan.

The thing is we should not be intimidated. ICE has half as many agents as NYPD has officers (20k vs 40k). They are vastly outnumbered by civilians who oppose them. If we show we aren't scared and will stand up, they have failed. That's how you fight state terror. Chicago is doing a great job!
This featuring @donmoyn.bsky.social is spot on. Helps explain why ICE/DHS activity lately has moved from working class suburbs & Chicago neighborhoods to more affluent north side and northern suburbs, like Evanston & Wilmette.

They want to intimidate/scare *everyone* including the "liberal elite."
New in PN: @donmoyn.bsky.social on "Purge, Merge, and Surge"

“The visible presence of overwhelming numbers of troops in the streets has a psychological component. You display dominance & make examples of people who resist — except instead of surging in Iraq, it’s happening here in American cities.”

When a leader attacks public education, they’re attacking democracy.

Here’s what Trump’s agenda for schools really means—authoritarianism in the classroom.

Personally not a fan of age limits or other technicalities. The election system should self-correct by producing better candidates.

We should ask why they keep getting elected and not beaten by more capable candidates?
