We too often feel helpless and hopeless. That’s what they want, they thrive in chaos. But here is a reminder: 250 years of America, and our generation will not be the one that fails her. Period. And in the rear view, it will seem worth it.

DelBene: They’re scared they can’t keep a majority because they’re not standing up for the issues the American people care about.

We should be making sure that voters pick their representatives—not politicians picking their voters.

They know they can’t win, so they’re trying to rig the system.

This weekend's episode of Amicus with @dahlialithwick.bsky.social and @whitehouse.senate.gov is well worth your time.

As Whitehouse put it, what was done to our democracy **was done**, and can be undone.

This Is the Most Inspiring Thing I’ve Heard About Democracy at the Supreme Court in Ages
It’s not every day that a political leader talking about the state of U.S. democracy is able to hit two tricky notes at the same time: realism and hope.

So LM get this straight…

Ghislaine Maxwell is in prison for trafficking girls to… nobody?

No client list, even though AG Pam Bondi literally said it was sitting on her desk.

2,000 names in the little black book, but the court sealed it and the media shut up.

Your Prime Day reminder that half of Amazon warehouse workers struggle with food & housing costs.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.

If Bezos can spend $50M on a wedding, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.

We are witnessing an epidemic of the abuse of the power of the federal government, including the criminal system, to target and intimidate Democrats and their supporters. Trump will escalate this until people stand up to him.

It is time we all have the courage to peacefully stand up and say enough!
