NEW: El Salvador told the United Nations that it lacks legal authority over the 200+ Venezuelan migrants sent to CECOT by Trump, contradicting his earlier claims that the men cannot be returned to the U.S. due to being under El Salvador's legal jurisdiction.

Please call the Senate Budget Committee and tell them to vote no on the One Big Bill, the number is 202-224-0642. A person answers. Say don't pass the bill. They will count your call as nay. Also please call your Senators. The Senate Switch board number is 202-224-3121. Red state. Blue state.

Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.

Good news: after we raised the alarm, DOGE has been blocked from accessing sensitive Department of Education data.

Your Social Security number, income data, and personal information are safe for now.

We will keep fighting back.
If you're one of the 40 million people with student loans, Elon Musk’s team may have gotten access to your Social Security number, income data, and personal information.

I'm leading 18 senators in an investigation into DOGE’s actions at the Department of Education.

As we warned in our statement before the Senate vote, the bill will encourage xenophobia against migrants & deny them due process. Under this bill, someone arrested even for shoplifting could be unjustly detained by DHS without proof of them having committed any crime.

Pete Hegseth’s nomination has already passed the committee, and the only step left is a confirmation vote from the full Senate. If we’re going to stop this dangerous nomination, we have to act now. Every call, every email, and every bit of pressure counts: act.indivisible.org/sign/oppose-...
